Mark Mizruchi

Mark Sheldon Mizruchi is an American sociologist, born December 10, 1953, who holds the Robert Cooley Angell Collegiate Professorship of Sociology and the Barger Family Professorship of Organizational Studies at the University of Michigan, where he also teaches management and operations at the Ross School of Business. His research focuses on the political activity of the United States corporate elite across the twentieth and twenty first centuries, and he was influential in the development of social network analysis as applied to organizational theory, economic sociology and political sociology.
