Fredric Jameson

Fredric Jameson was an American literary critic, philosopher and Marxist political theorist best known for his analysis of contemporary cultural trends, particularly postmodernity and its relationship to capitalism. His best-known books include Postmodernism, or, the Cultural Logic of Late Capitalism, published in 1991, and The Political Unconscious, published in 1981, both of which shaped later debates over the relationship between culture and economic structure.
