Danko Grlic

Danko Grlic (1923-1984) was a Yugoslav Marxist humanist philosopher and founding member of the Praxis school and its journal Praxis (1965), who taught aesthetics and philosophy in Zagreb and Belgrade and served as president of the Croatian Philosophical Society from 1966 to 1968. He wrote a four volume Study of Aesthetics (1974-1979) and scholarly work on Friedrich Nietzsche, along with the Dictionary of Philosophers (1968), Contra Dogmaticos (1971) and the posthumous Challenge of the Negative (1986).
