Norman K. Denzin

Norman K. Denzin was an American professor of sociology, born in 1941, who was an emeritus professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he also held positions as research professor of communications and professor of cinema studies. His academic interests included interpretive theory, performance studies, qualitative research methodology, and the study of media, culture and society. He died in 2023.
