Nikolai Bukharin

Nikolai Ivanovich Bukharin was a Russian revolutionary, Soviet politician and Marxist theorist. A prominent Bolshevik whom Vladimir Lenin described as a most valuable and major theorist of the Communist Party, he was active in the Soviet government from 1917 until his purge in 1937. His body of political and economic thought is known as Bukharinism.
