Boris Kagarlitsky

Boris Yulyevich Kagarlitsky is a Russian Marxist theoretician and sociologist who has been a political dissident in both the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation. He is an associate of the Transnational Institute, director of the Institute of Globalisation Studies and Social Movements, and editor in chief of the Levaya Politika quarterly in Moscow. He founded the online platform Rabkor, which carries a YouTube channel and an online newspaper of the same name, and he is widely known as a critic of capitalism and imperialism.
