Dov Ber Borochov was a Marxist Zionist and one of the founders of the Labor Zionist movement. He was also a pioneer in the study of the Yiddish language, and his worldview was heavily influenced by Alexander Bogdanov, Ernst Mach and Richard Avenarius.
