Daniel Guerin

Daniel Guerin was a French libertarian-communist author, best known for his work Anarchism: From Theory to Practice and for No Gods No Masters: An Anthology of Anarchism, which collected writings on anarchist thought and its movement beginning with the mid-nineteenth-century writings of Max Stirner through the first half of the twentieth century. He was an outspoken opponent of Nazism, fascism, capitalism, imperialism and colonialism, and he supported the Confederacion Nacional del Trabajo during the Spanish Civil War. His defense of free love and homosexuality influenced the later development of queer anarchism, and he sought to combine the ideologies of Marxism and anarchism.
