Gustav Landauer

Gustav Landauer was a German anarchist writer and revolutionary, and one of the leading theorists of anarchism in Germany at the turn of the twentieth century. He advocated a form of libertarian socialism that rejected both capitalism and Marxist historical materialism, synthesizing anarchism with romanticism, mysticism and a communitarian reading of volkisch thought that emphasized spiritual renewal and decentralized, autonomous communities.
