Juliet Schor

Juliet B. Schor is an American economist and sociology professor at Boston College who has studied trends in working time, consumerism, banking credit, housing policies, the relationship between work and family, women's issues and economic inequality, and concerns about climate change. From 2010 to 2017 she studied the sharing economy under a research project funded by the MacArthur Foundation, and she is working on a project called The Algorithmic Workplace with funding from the National Science Foundation.
