Group Type

Group type sorts social groups by their basic organizational shape, such as a band, a tribe or a chiefdom. Wikipedia notes hunter-gatherer societies were "usually a tribe of only a few dozen people," typically "fully or semi-nomadic" in contrast to larger settled societies.
