Al-Mushayt

Al-Mushayt is a leading family of the Al-Ghanem branch of the Shahran tribe in Saudi Arabia, whose members are recognized as sheikhs and hereditary leaders of the wider Shahran tribal confederation. The family's historical influence centers on the Khamis Mushait area, a town in the Aseer region of southwestern Saudi Arabia that takes its own name from the family, and on the surrounding Wadi Bisha area, both long associated with Shahran settlement and authority.
